He had been in love with manga since elementary school and since then being a manga was his aim. Some of his influences were Locke the Superman and Galaxy Express 999. He started a doujin circle in high school and upon graduation, he moved to the capital to enroll in a design school. While he was there, in 1986, he was scouted by a manga editor. After he debuted, he mostly did adult manga.
He was married to Q-ta, and had a daughter together before divorcing.
He passed away in 2009. However, the cause of death was never made public.
