One the the Post Year 24 Group. Kai made her debut in 1976 with "Anasutashia no sutekina Otonari" (Anastasia's wonderful neighbor) in Viva Princess. She was the sister of Hatsu Akiko and a friend of Hagio Moto and Satou Shio.
Kai died in the dawn of the December 12, 1980 at age 26 due to stomach cancer.
