Michio Hisauchi is a Japanese mangaka, illustrator, essayist, and actor. He completed his graduation from Kawai Rei Design Institute in 1972. In 1976, is work, "Perspective Kid" was selected for the Garo's New Artist Award, and since then, he has published works mainly in the same magazine. He uses a drafting pen for drawing his manga. In 2002, his work "Rihatsu Tenshu no Kanashimi" was adapted into a movie. As an actor, he has worked in "Shousatsu Gundan Lilliput Army," multiple movies and commercials. In April 2010, he was appointed as a professor for Kyoto Seika University.
