He was a Japanese mangaka, illustrator and essayist, who debuted as a mangaka in 1952, with is work "Quiz manga," published in "Manga Shounen" magazine. In 1956, he made his full scale debut with his work "Namida No Hana," published in Tokyo Manga Publishing Co., Ltd. His most famous work "Terajima-chou Kidan," started serialising in Monthly Garo in 1968.
He died of liver failure in 1990.
