Ep. 1: Nariyuki da clases particulares a las geniales Fumino y Rizu para asegurar su recomendación universitaria

Nariyuki Yuiga, a senior at Ichinose Academy, hopes to receive a VIP Recommendation to enter university without an entrance exam or tuition fees. The Headmaster offers Nariyuki the Recommendation, but only if he agrees to tutor Fumino Furuhashi, a genius in literature and languages nicknamed "Sleeping Beauty of the Literary Forest", and Rizu Ogata, a genius in mathematics nicknamed "Thumbelina Supercomputer". Nariyuki quickly realises Fumino is useless at mathematics and Rizu is useless at English and have been abandoned by every tutor. Nariyuki advises them to attend universities catering to their abilities but later realises how hard they have worked and recalls that he frequently struggled in school until his father helped him. He spends all night designing study materials for them. As they study together Nariyuki becomes embarrassed at being so close to two girls. He learns Rizu's family own an udon restaurant, then while walking home with Fumino he learns she wants to become an astronomer to find the star she believes is the reincarnation of her mother, but for that she must study mathematics and science. He also sees Rizu in a park and learns that because she struggles to understand emotions she is determined to study psychology, which requires studying english. Nariyuki returns home to his mother, twin younger brother and sister, and his other younger sister, Mizuki, who has a brother complex and is furious that she can smell two girls' perfumes on him.
