Buddy Complex

Aoba, a high school student, is attacked by a giant robot on the first day of school after summer break. While being chased through the city, his classmate Hina arrives in her own robot and saves him. She gives him a cryptic message about "Dio waiting for you" before vanishing. This event marks the start of Aoba's involvement with the Free Treaty Alliance in its conflict with the Great Zogiria Republic.
