Gad Guard

In the distant future, Earth's resources have been depleted, halting human progress. Society is organized into "Units," and a boy named Hajiki Sanada resides in Unit 74's "Night Town" with his mother and sister, where electricity ceases at midnight. A central element is the GAD, a device capable of reshaping materials based on the emotions of a living being, producing varying forms depending on those feelings. Hajiki accidentally encounters a GAD, which transforms into a large robot known as a Tekkoudo, which he names Lightning. He soon discovers that others also possess Tekkoudos and must navigate interactions with those he perceives as similar to himself.
