GARO: Honoo no Kokuin

A royal advisor initiates a persecution of Makai Knights and Priests, who are tasked with protecting the people. A condemned Makai Priest gives birth to a child, Leon Lewis, before execution. The child is saved by his father, a Makai Knight, but never sees his mother. As he matures, Leon becomes the wielder of the Gold Armor, a legacy of the Gold Knights. During this time, the advisor seizes control after the king falls ill, and Prince Alfonso and his mother are exiled. The prince seeks out the legendary Gold Knight to reclaim his throne.
