Jinzou Ningen Kikaider: THE ANIMATION

A robotics professor named Dr. Komyoji builds Jiro, a humanoid robot capable of transforming into Kikaider. Jiro is designed to protect Dr. Komyoji's children, Masaru and Mitsuko. Equipped with a conscience circuit that allows it to simulate emotions and discern between right and wrong, Jiro faces opposition from Dr. Gil, who seeks to recruit it for an army aiming for world domination. The series is a darker adaptation of the original *Jinzou Ningen Kikaida* tokusatsu show, introducing or expanding emotional conflicts among Kikaider and other characters not present in the original.
