Karakuri Kiden: Hiwou Senki

Eight years prior, Western Civilization arrived in 19th-century Japan, introducing mechanized dolls and steam-powered technology that spread nationwide. A faction known as the Wind Gang uses these innovations to violently push for a new Industrial Era. They attack a tranquil village where a young doll user named Hiwou lives, destroying it. Hiwou and his companions manage to flee with a large doll named Homura. Determined to locate his father, Hiwou hopes to gain the means to fight the Wind Gang and restore peace to Japan.
