Kujira no Josephina

A young girl named Josephina lives with her father, a fisherman, in a coastal town. One day, he goes out to sea and does not return. After his disappearance, Josephina begins to see a large whale near the shore. She befriends the whale, which seems to understand her. As time passes, she grows attached to the creature, finding comfort in its presence. The whale becomes a companion and a source of solace during her time of grief.
