A master thief finds his plans disrupted when a casino heist yields counterfeit money instead of real cash. Teaming up with his ally Jigen, he travels to the secluded European country of Cagliostro to investigate. There, they meet a princess pressured into an unwanted marriage with a dangerous nobleman. With the help of a former lover and a skilled swordsman, they must navigate a perilous castle filled with traps, a hazardous dungeon, and hired killers.
