The OVA episodes are included in limited edition manga releases. The first OVA, Ban no Bangai-hen, explores part of Ban's backstory. The second OVA features nine brief narratives, including "Nothing is wasted," "Teach Me Captain!," "Case of the Captain of the Leftover Disposal Knights," "Diane and Ban," "Don't cry, my friend," "Gilthunder's Truth," "If the Results are Good, Everything's OK," "Lies and Truth," and "Partner."
