ONIMUSHA

An anime adaptation of CAPCOM's Sengoku period game *Onimusha* is being developed by animation studio Sublimation. Takashi Miike serves as the chief director, with Shinya Sugai also directing the series. The character Miyamoto Musashi is modeled after the late actor Toshiro Mifune. Set at the start of the Edo Period, the story follows an older Musashi who sets out with the Oni Gauntlet to confront the Genma.
