Oseam

An animated film based on a fairy tale by Jeong Chae-bong, known for his emotionally resonant and innocent storytelling, features over 100,000 copies sold locally. It centers on two orphans, a five-year-old boy named Gil-son and his blind sister Gam-i, who live with a kind monk at a remote temple in Mt. Seorak. Gil-son, a curious and playful child, leads an hour-long journey exploring themes of innocence. With a gentle and open heart, he connects with nature, forming friendships with clouds, birds, and flowers. A significant event occurs on a snowy day, altering their path. The film received the Best Feature Film award at the 2004 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
