In a future society, two distinct groups exist: the Pure Race and the Nano Race, the latter possessing nano-machines in their DNA and unique abilities. The Pure Race holds power and oppresses the Nano population. Beck, a 14-year-old Nano, is a renowned bounty hunter with the ability to transform into red ash. He seeks a costly medical treatment to convert from Nano to Pure. Beck crosses paths with Tyger and a girl named Call, who claims to be Nano but is actually Pure. She is being hunted by Safari and Stripe. The story takes place across multiple parallel worlds.
