Dekao, a solitary whale, swims through the ocean in sadness, longing for companionship. He encounters a strikingly beautiful whale, which he becomes enamored with. Unbeknownst to him, the creature he has fallen for is not another whale, but a submarine constructed by the Japanese Navy.
