Various kingdoms and villages send over a thousand sacrificial maidens to the island, believing Exoda's insatiable lust and potential for destruction must be appeased. However, the legends are inaccurate—Exoda is not driven by lust or a desire to destroy the world. He prefers a peaceful life and enjoys fishing on weekends. The maidens who arrive on Shina Dark are considered tainted brides and cannot return home.
