Shingeki no Kyojin

Humans were nearly wiped out centuries ago by Titans, massive creatures that appear to lack intelligence and consume people seemingly for enjoyment rather than sustenance. A small number of survivors took refuge within a city surrounded by walls taller than the largest Titans. For over a century, no Titans have been seen. A teenage boy and his foster sister experience a terrifying event when a colossal Titan suddenly appears and destroys the city walls. Smaller Titans then overrun the city, and the two witness their mother being devoured. The boy pledges to kill every Titan and seek vengeance for humanity.
