Uchuu no Stellvia

In the year 2356, 189 years have passed since a distant supernova triggered a global disaster that killed 99% of humanity. In response, humans constructed massive space stations known as "foundations" across the Solar System to monitor space activities. Shima Katase, having successfully completed the Space Academy entrance exams, travels to the Earth-based foundation Stellvia. Her goal is to realize her dream of exploring the galaxy and to help prevent a future interstellar disaster that could threaten Earth.
