Ushio to Tora (TV)

A long-forgotten monster once plagued the land until a samurai used the legendary Beast Spear to contain it. Five centuries later, Ushio Aotsuki, a middle school student, discovers the sealed creature in a cellar beneath his family's temple. The monster's release draws other supernatural beings to the area, forcing Ushio to unleash it to fend them off. He names the creature Tora and reluctantly teams up with it to fight additional spirits and demons.
