In a distant future, the Moon and Mars are used as waste disposal sites and prisons for Earth's criminals. A rebellion breaks out among the lunar inmates, posing a threat to Earth. Takashi Katori and his American friend Olivia Lawrence enjoy playing a video game featuring a battle robot named Laserion, which Takashi always wins with. After an experiment brings the robot into the real world, Takashi is forced to pilot it to defend Earth from the rebel forces arriving from space.
