In a world where science has resolved all mysteries, a 14-year-old girl named Akane lives with her younger sister and grandfather on Oshima. Their simple life is marked by affection and hardship. Across the sea lies Blue Island, home to the Manifestation Engine, a breakthrough that solved global energy issues. This peaceful existence is disrupted by the emergence of an unknown threat called the Alone, who target the engine. Conventional weapons prove ineffective, and hope seems lost until a girl in a red "Palette Suit" steps forward, possessing a powerful ability.
