Wanpaku Ouji no Orochi Taiji

A young version of the god Susanoo is grieving the death of his mother, Izanami, despite his father Izanagi's explanation that she has gone to the heavens. Ignoring his father's warnings, Susanoo embarks on a journey to find her. Accompanied by a talking rabbit named Akahana and a giant named Taitanbo from the Land of Fire, he faces various challenges during his travels. His journey leads him to the Izumo Province, where he meets Princess Kushinada, a girl he grows close to and finds strikingly familiar to his mother. Kushinada's family reveals that her seven sisters were sacrificed to an eight-headed serpent known as Orochi. Moved by his affection for her, Susanoo decides to help protect Kushinada and defeat the creature, preparing for a final confrontation with Orochi alongside his companions.
