Yuusha Raideen

A 12,000-year slumber ends as the Demon Empire reemerges to conquer Earth. From a golden pyramid, Reideen, a robot-like guardian of the lost continent Mu, awakens and informs Akira Hibiki, a Japanese boy, that he is the last descendant of the Mu people and must aid in Earth's defense. Akira is supported by his friends, including Mari Sakurano, the daughter of a scientist opposing the Demon Empire, and other members of his high school soccer team.
