Mahjong is often played among family and friends, but it also thrives in the underworld. Nangou, a gambler in deep debt, risks everything in a high-stakes game against the mafia. As his situation worsens, a boy named Shigeru Akagi enters the scene, fleeing the police. Nangou quickly teaches Akagi the basics and hands over the game.
