Break Blade

Rygart Arrow lives in a world where most people can harness quartz, an energy source that powers machines. He is unique in that he cannot access this ability. The rulers of his country, Krisna, are former classmates of his. However, so is Zess, the commander of the invading mech army. Arrow feels ineffective during the conflict until he discovers an ancient battle suit that others cannot operate. He finds that he has an innate ability to control the suit, which could make him a key figure in the conflict.
