Ganbare Genki

A five-year-old boy, Genki, lost his mother at birth and was raised by his father, Shark Horiguchi, a former professional boxer who fell from prominence and became a traveling fighter. Genki admired his father and aspired to become a champion like him. After Shark's death, Genki was taken in by his grandparents, who disapproved of him boxing. Despite their opposition, Genki remained determined to pursue boxing and trained in secret, seeking guidance from different individuals.
