Honoo no Tenkousei

A student named Noboru Takizawa transfers to a new school and immediately encounters trouble after stepping on a land mine. He survives an attack from the hall monitor and meets Yukari, forming a friendship. Later, he meets Ibuki, who becomes a rival for Yukari's attention. Takizawa discovers that the school is attempting to dominate his class, and he takes it upon himself to support his classmates. He aims to prove their class has potential through a school sports festival. At the same time, Takizawa's father works to correct the teachers and stop their oppressive behavior.
