A group of students from Tonan University, including Tarou Kajiura, travel to Ikishima Island to investigate the origins of a myth involving Princess Kwannon. During their visit, the island's annual festival is taking place, an event that has excluded outsiders for 400 years. The penalty for violating this rule is harsher than expected.
