A single individual holds the title of Magi Craft Meister at any given time. Following the death of the previous one over a millennium ago, Jin Nidou was sent to another world to take up the role. After acquiring the knowledge of the Magi Craft Meister, Jin tries to activate a warp gate, but it fails, sending him to an unfamiliar world. An automaton he recently repaired also activates the gate, seeking her "father." Together, they begin their journey as the new Magi Craft Meister.
