Maken-Ki!

A young man with a typical personality but a perverted mindset enrolls in a school where he is unaware that combat and magic are practiced. On his first day, he reunites with a childhood friend, meets a girl claiming to be his fiancée, and encounters another who wishes to kill him. He learns that several female students dislike him and that everyone at the school wields a unique magic ability through a weapon or item known as a Maken. Takeru discovers he cannot use any Maken, leaving him uncertain about his place in the school, where students regularly engage in duels to demonstrate their magical and combat skills—something he appears to lack. The series includes 39 chapters split into two parts, plus additional content such as 15 extra chapters, a side story, and several one-shots.
