A young woman possesses physical traits typical of certain reptiles, including a chameleon-like tongue, gecko-like hands, and a third eyelid. Her biology causes her to shed her skin several times a year. When a classmate with a fascination for reptiles becomes particularly interested in her, she must navigate the attention while proving there is more to her than her unusual anatomy.
