Nekojiru Udon

A young hero's sister is taken by Death, and despite being a small kitten, he refuses to accept this fate. Driven by a fascination with the bizarre and a strong inclination toward a mix of sweetness and mischief, the story follows two kittens, Nyato and Nyata, who, despite their adorable appearances, cause widespread chaos. The manga was serialized in *Monthly Manga Garo* from June 1990 to October 1995, spanning 31 chapters. It was published in two incomplete tankoubon volumes by Seirindo in 1992 and 1995, and later in a complete three-volume edition by Bungeishunjuu from 1998 to 1999, which includes additional chapters and a one-shot. The order of the chapters differs in the tankoubon releases. One chapter, "Neko Saiban no Maki," was translated into English and published in the anthology *Sake Jock*.
