PATHOS

A human teenager is raised by two long-lived vampires. As he matures, he develops feelings for one of them, who in turn becomes drawn to his blood. The vampires, fearing exposure, send him to a boarding school, prompting him to desire their way of life. A story explores the emotional development of the boy and the vampire's experience of eternal existence.
