Rikon Kurabu

A 25-year-old woman, known as "Mama," runs a hostess bar in Ginza, a Tokyo suburb, styling her hair to appear older and more authoritative. Though young, she is a divorced mother of a baby girl named Asako, whom she has left in the care of her mother in the countryside. She faces ongoing harassment from her ex-husband and struggles with managing her staff, dealing with rude customers, and her feelings for Ken-Chan, her bartender. Financial difficulties compound her challenges as the country approaches a major economic crisis.
