Tenshou no Ryuuma
天翔の龍馬
At the close of the shogunate era, a pivotal figure is given another opportunity to reshape a decaying feudal Japan. During the final years of the Edo Period, the samurai and reformer Sakamoto Ryouma worked to end the Takagawa Shogunate, influenced by Western ideals of equality. He sought to create a modern Japanese government free from feudal oppression. In 1867, he and his close companion Nakaoka Shintaro were killed before his goals could be achieved. This alternate history imagines a scenario in which Ryouma survives due to Shintaro's sacrifice. With this new opportunity, the question remains: can Ryouma now succeed in building a modern Japan?
