Tsumi to Batsu
Crime and Punishment·罪と罰
A young student in Russia kills an elderly pawnbroker for a pocket watch on the eve of the revolution. Another man is soon arrested for the murder, but the killer's essay, which argues that "extra-ordinary" individuals are not bound by conventional morality, raises concerns with a judge named Porfiry. As Porfiry investigates, Raskolnikov struggles with the weight of his actions. The question remains: will the judge uncover the truth, or will Raskolnikov be undone by his own conscience first.
