Fukumitsu Shigeyuki draws perennial losers that never give up the fight. His fans have been ever-increasing in number since his debut in Garo in 1997. His breakout work was My Small Ambitions, first serialized in AX between 2002 and 2005. It tells the story of a struggling manga author hoping desperately to get his work published in AX. The follow-up My Small Life (serialized in Morning) has been an even greater success, gaining him commissions from the most major magazines in the field.
