Tetsuji Hashimoto was a japanese mangaka. He moved to Tokyo after graduating from Fukuoka Prefectural Fukuoka High School. He made his debut in Manga Sunday in 1971, but after working as an assistant to Mamoru Masaki and Hoyo Hasegawa (who is also a senior in high school), he became independent around 1978 and began full-scale creative activities.
