Paulo Coelho

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1947, he is considered one of the most influential writers of our time. Member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters since 2002. Many of his works have become global bestsellers, translated into 88 languages and selling over 320 million copies across more than 170 countries. He has received numerous prestigious international awards, including France’s Legion of Honor. In 2007, he was appointed as a United Nations Messenger of Peace.
