Kayono has been accused of plagiarism. One accusation has been that she copied and traced famous Calvin Klein ads, as well as scenes from a yaoi series by Kazusa Takashima. However, Calvin Klein hasn't sued her and she won the lawsuit brought against her by Takashima.
