During the Apollo 17 mission in 1972, a gateway to Mars was discovered on the moon. Astronauts encountered a powerful substance called 'Aldnoah,' which enhanced their abilities and led to a migration to Mars, where they became known as Martians. When Princess Asseylum arrives on Earth seeking peace, conflict erupts between the two planets.
