Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Akihisa Yoshii, known as "baka," is placed in the lowest class at his academy, F class, due to poor test performance. The school ranks students strictly by test scores, with top students in comfortable A class and F class enduring basic, run-down facilities. Mizuki Himeji, one of the brightest students, was placed in F class after a fever affected her test results. She joins Akihisa along with Yuuji Sakamoto, the class president and Akihisa's longtime friend. The school has developed technology to summon fantasy creatures, which Akihisa uses to lead F class in challenging the higher classes for better treatment and privileges. The students engage in a competition using summoned beings to determine school dominance.
