BAKUMATSU: Renai Bakumatsu Kareshi Gaiden

Takasugi Shinsaku and Katsura Kogorou, allies from Choshu, board a government vessel to locate a powerful time-altering device they believe the authorities intend to control. Their goal is to destroy the artifact before it can be misused. After securing the device, it is stolen, prompting them to pursue the thief to Kyoto. Upon arrival, they find the government has been replaced by the deity Susanoo, and the city has changed significantly. Despite these developments, they remain committed to their original objective, determined to restore their nation by reversing the changes and countering those who seek to manipulate time for their own ends.
