Chibi Maruko-chan: Watashi no Suki na Uta

A third-grade student named Sakura Momoko is assigned to create an artwork based on her favorite song for a contest. She is excited about a new song from music class and wants to capture it in her drawing. While traveling to visit family in Shizuoka, she encounters Shouko Kimura, a university student who draws portraits at the train station and is also entering an art contest. Impressed by Kimura's artwork, Momoko meets her again. Shouko is touched by Momoko's sincerity and kindness. The two form a friendship and mutually encourage each other in their creative pursuits.
