Celeste is being manipulated by someone. Someone who has forced the primal to attack the village and devour its undead residents. In an attempt to suppress the damage, Rackam, piloting the Grandcypher, stops Celeste in her tracks. Gran takes the chance to leap into Celeste to rescue Lyria, Io, and Orchis. As he ventures through Celeste's pitch-dark body, a vision of his childhood memories appears before his eyes. Inside the vision, a mirror image of Gran brandishes a sword at the captain.
