Heisei Tanuki Gassen Ponpoko

A group of tanuki face the loss of their home as Tokyo expands, prompting them to use their transformation abilities to resist the encroaching development. Two particularly skilled members travel to Shikoku to seek assistance from three sages, while others attempt to sabotage the construction site, starting with minor incidents and escalating to more direct interference. Despite their efforts, the humans remain determined, forcing the tanuki to adopt increasingly drastic tactics in their fight to preserve their land.
