In the aftermath of a war, women hold political power in the Chuo ward and have outlawed weapons. Men respond by using rap battles as a form of conflict, wielding Hypnosis Mics that can stimulate the sympathetic nervous system and alter thinking. A once-unified rap group, The Dirty Dawg, has fractured into four separate teams, each linked to a different Tokyo district. These groups compete in territorial rap battles using the HypMics.
