In the near future, pests have developed resistance to all insecticides, prompting a Japanese company to develop small, doll-like exterminating robots known as Hoi Hoi-san. A rival company has introduced its own model, Combat-san. Due to their cute design, these robots have become popular and have attracted a fanbase. In the home of one admirer, Hoi Hoi-san and Combat-san hunt for insects at night. However, Combat-san occasionally targets Hoi Hoi-san during these missions.
